There’s a host of exciting things to report relating to Field Harmonics, the new electronic pop project of epic45’s Rob Glover. Top of the list is that the debut FH album, Walls, is now available for pre-order. The album will be released on 1st July by Wayside and Woodland, and can be pre-ordered via Norman Records and Darla using the links below.
And a further Field Harmonics release comes in the shape of a new single, Happenstance, which will be available digitally in June. The single will include a radio edit version as well as remixes — more details to be announced in May.
Coming up on Saturday 4th May is your chance to appear as an extra in a video for a new FH track, Everyone. You’ll need to be available during the daytime for the shoot, which takes place in Wolverhampton. And if that wasn’t enough, the second Field Harmonics live gig is scheduled for Friday 10th May, when Rob will be playing as support to Still Corners at the Rainbow on Digbeth High Street in Birmingham.
For further information about the gig — including ticket ordering — and the video shoot, just check the links below.
Field Harmonics, the electronic pop project of epic45’s Rob Glover, has provided the soundtrack to a trailer for a major new exhibition at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. The trailer features the track Happenstance, which appears on the debut FH album Walls, slated for a June 2013 release on Wayside & Woodland.
Metropolis: Reflections On A Modern City is an exhibition that brings together work by 25 contemporary internaional artists, and includes digital projection, painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media installation. The exhibition runs from 23rd March – 23rd June 2013 at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
The trailer is edited by Chris Keenan, who previously produced the video for the epic45 track We Were Never Here — and who will be working with Rob in the spring on a new video for Field Harmonics.
It was a great pleasure for us as epic45 to be asked to soundtrack this charity video produced by Simon Christopher, for the London based homeless charity, The Passage. A re-edited version of ‘The Future Is Blinding’ was used from ‘In All The Empty Houses’, in this powerful and uplifting short film. It premiered last week at the Royal Festival Hall in London in front of a 3000 strong sell-out crowd . Congratulations to Simon on producing this brilliant film, and for asking us to be involved.
We are all very excited at W&W to be able to post this brand new video for Component#4, whose EP will be release on 12″ vinyl and download on 29/10/12 via Wayside and Woodland. More details on the release and accompanying collectors set within the next week.
